The Neighborhood

Lincoln Park stretches from the lakefront west into residential areas surrounding DePaul University. Armitage Avenue, Lincoln Avenue and the Clybourn corridor offer shopping and dining, while CTA Red, Brown and Purple Line service connects the neighborhood with downtown and the North Side.

Its biggest asset may be the lakefront itself, with Lincoln Park Zoo, the Conservatory, North Avenue Beach and miles of parkland nearby.

Lifestyle

Lincoln Park offers a great balance between city activity and residential living. You'll find restaurants, boutiques, theaters and nightlife alongside quiet tree-lined streets and historic architecture.

It's possible to live within walking distance of a busy commercial corridor while still coming home to a distinctly residential block.

I lived in Lincoln Park neighborhood for 9 years and loved what the area has to offer, while learning the ins-and-outs of the market. Lincoln Park shouldn't be approached as one uniform market. Someone prioritizing lakefront access may search very differently from a buyer focused on Southport, DePaul or the quieter western residential streets.

Understanding those micro-markets is particularly important when comparing value.
